The 93% Club Scholarship
There is no doubt that the 93% Club Scholarship has made my journey at LBS possible; it is unequivocally the most life‑changing award for UK state‑educated students.
Being a part of this community is one of the main reasons I came to LBS: to meet new people with different views to my own, to meaningfully contribute to discussions on major issues in business practice, and ultimately to forge connections that will last beyond my programme. None of this would’ve been possible for me without this scholarship.
I never thought that I would be here right now, but I’m grateful that I am, and that I have the support of the LBS community in pursuing new opportunities and improving social outcomes for people across the UK.

Laidlaw Scholarship
As a first‑generation university graduate from Peru, the Laidlaw Scholarship has expanded not only my horizons but also my sense of what is within reach. It has made pursuing the MiM at LBS possible, removing financial barriers and allowing me to focus fully on my journey. Beyond financial support, the Laidlaw Foundation has given me the opportunity to learn alongside peers from diverse backgrounds and access meaningful mentorship.

Women’s Merit Scholarship
As a Women’s Merit Scholar in the MFA, coming from a management background and now pursuing a career in investment banking, the scholarship has shaped my experience at LBS in a meaningful way. It connected me not only with an incredible group of women, but also with the wider scholar community, which gave me a strong sense of belonging and shared ambition from the start. Being surrounded by driven, supportive people pushed me to get more involved, and I’m now part of the executive committees of multiple clubs at LBS.
Just as importantly, the scholarship removed the financial pressure of needing to work during term time. That allowed me to fully focus on recruiting and academics, and to be more intentional about my goals and how I contribute to the LBS community.

SKYY Development Scholarship
Receiving the SKYY Development Scholarship at London Business School has been one of the most defining moments of my journey. Growing up in Nepal and being the first in my family to pursue a master’s degree abroad, studying at LBS once felt like an aspiration that was far beyond reach. The scholarship didn’t just make the programme accessible; it made the experience possible.
What it has given me most is the freedom to fully embrace everything LBS offers. Without the weight of financial pressure, I have been able to focus deeply on my learning while actively contributing to the community around me.
For me, the SKYY Development Scholarship represents far more than financial support. It represents LBS’s belief in the potential of students from different backgrounds to thrive and lead. That belief has given me the confidence to fully embrace this experience and to continue growing into the leader I hope to become.

Merit Scholarship
Coming from Pakistan with a background in finance across some of South Asia’s most dynamic markets, I had already committed to a clear direction: combining strategy consulting and finance, where business decisions and the numbers behind them must tell the same story. LBS was where I knew that journey had to continue. Being awarded a merit scholarship on top of that felt like a genuine vote of belief — and belief, it turns out, is a powerful thing to carry into a programme. It changes how you show up. You arrive not just as a student, but as someone accountable to a standard that has already been recognised in you.
Since arriving, I have immersed myself in everything the School offers: competitions, exceptional faculty, and a cohort of people who have already built remarkable things and want to build more.
I am deeply grateful for that foundation and determined to justify it.
