EMBA-Global May 2025: Application updates

We’re thrilled to announce that applications for our May 2025 intake are now open! After welcoming 45 diverse and professional students in May, we’ve made some exciting updates to our admissions process to ensure an even smoother and more enjoyable experience for our applicants. Here are some of the key changes we’ve implemented:

Application Deadlines for the Upcoming Intake

We are pleased to announce the application deadlines for the upcoming EMBA-Global intake, structured to streamline your application process. There are three key deadlines to remember:

While we will accept applications between these dates, adhering to these deadlines will help you stay on track with our admissions process. All applications should be submitted by the final deadline.

Important Note: We will only review applications once all required materials have been submitted (see application checklist below). If you anticipate any issues, please reach out to our admissions team at your earliest convenience.

To be considered for the EMBA-Global Excellence Scholarship, you will need to submit your complete application by January 14th. Scholarships are limited so we encourage all candidates to apply early.

Application checklist

We have made some important changes to our application! This intake, we have reduced the number of required references. Previously, applicants needed to submit two references. Now, only one reference from your line manager or supervisor is required.

The updated application checklist can we be seen below:

1. Application Form: Complete with personal, employment, and educational information.

2. Two Essays and One Personal Statement: These should provide insight into your motivations, experiences, and goals.

3. One Reference: A reference from your current or most recent line manager or supervisor.

4. Two-Page CV/Resume: Highlighting your professional experience, skills, and achievements.

5. EA/GMAT/GRE Test Score Certificate: Valid test scores as required by the program. (waiver policy outlined below)

6. Transcripts: Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree transcripts. An official English translation must be provided by a recognized translation agency. Both the original and the translation should be sent.

7. Letter of Support from Your Company: This letter should indicate your company’s support for your participation in the program. If you are self-employed, you must submit a letter, normally from your company, stating that you understand the time commitment needed away from the office to successfully complete the programme.

8. Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of US $250.00.

EA Waiver Policy

Last intake we introduced the EA/GMAT/GRE waiver policy, and this is something that we will continue to use for the upcoming intake.

We still encourage EMBA candidates to submit a valid standardized test score as part of the application process. Test scores are one helpful data point used in evaluating candidates. However, we are offering EA/GMAT/GRE waivers to exceptional candidates who can demonstrate the skills covered by the test through academic achievements and work experience. This can include but is not limited to seniority, masters/PhD degrees and professional qualifications.

If you feel like you qualify for a waiver, then we recommend that you contact our recruitment team on embagadmissions@london.edu for further clarification. Please note that they will usually ask for a CV or transcripts to be able to verify whether you are eligible for the waiver.

If you are told to take a test, do not worry as we accept GRE, GMAT and the EA. We recommend candidates to take the EA (executive assessment). This was developed by a consortium of top tier schools to assess your study-readiness. It is designed to be taken with minimal preparation, and reflecting the pressures on busy executives, it is 90 minutes in duration. To find out more and register to take the Executive Assessment please visit the GMAC website.
