EMBA-Global May 2025 application updates

We’re thrilled to announce that the application for our May 2025 intake is now open. We have made some exciting updates to our admissions process to ensure an enjoyable experience for our applicants.

Application Deadlines

Applications are reviewed once all required materials have been received. We aim to release interview invitations or render a deny decision on a ongoing basis and no later than each respective deadline. Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as their applications are prepared to increase the likelihood of receiving a decision earlier.

To be considered for the EMBA-Global Excellence Scholarship, we must receive your completed application by the January deadline. Scholarships are limited so we encourage all candidates to apply as soon as their application is complete.

All applications must be submitted by the final deadline.

Application requirements

The updated application requirements can be seen below:

1. Application Form: Complete with personal, employment, and academic information.

2. Two Essays and One Personal Statement: These essays provide the Admissions Committee with insight into your motivations, experiences, and goals.

3. Reference Letter: A reference letter from your current or most recent line manager or supervisor.

4. CV/Resume: Highlighting your professional experience, skills, and achievements (typically 1-2 pages).

5. GMAT, Executive Assessment, or GRE Score: Applicants must submit a valid GMAT, Executive Assessment, or GRE score when applying. You may be eligible to receive a test waiver, please see below to learn more about our test waiver policy.

6. Transcripts: A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution is required for admission. Applicants should scan and submit PDF versions of transcripts from each undergraduate and graduate institution they have attended. An official English translation must be provided by a recognized translation agency. Both the original and the translation should be sent.

7. Employer Sponsorship: Regardless of the level of financial support from your employer, applicants are required to submit a signed sponsorship letter from an authorized representative of your organization, briefly stating the terms of support. Financial sponsorship is not required of your employer, but your organization must agree to completely release you from all job responsibilities on class days.

8. Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of US $250.00.

Test Waiver Policy

We encourage EMBA-Global applicants to submit a valid standardized test score as part of their application; test scores are a helpful data point used in evaluating candidates. Based on a review of your resume/CV and transcript(s), you might be eligible to receive a waiver for test scores if the skills covered by the test can be demonstrated through academic achievements or work experience. To request a test waiver, please reach out to the recruitment team (embagadmissions@london.edu).

Navigating the Admissions Timeline

We have outlined our admissions timeline below to help guide you through the process:

Application Deadlines

We review our candidates on a rolling basis, and therefore encourage you to submit your application as early as possible. Applicants do not have to wait until after the deadline to receive a decision.

Application Review

Once we receive all required application components, we will begin to review your application. During this stage, your application is reviewed by our admissions team after which you’ll be either invited to interview or denied admission. Keep in mind applications cannot be reviewed until they are complete.

Timeline: We aim to either invite applicants for an interview or deny admission within two weeks of a completed application being received.

Interview Invitations

Selected applicants will receive interview invitations via email. Interviews may be conducted either in person or virtually.

Admission Decision

A final admissions decision can be rendered at any time after the interview. Our goal is that interviewed applicants will receive a decision within two weeks of the interview. All decisions are final.

Deposits

All admitted students are required to submit a tuition deposit to secure their place in the class after admission. Admitted students must submit their deposit within two weeks of admission.
