Our Orientation Highlights: MBA Class of 2026

On 12 August 2024, we welcomed our new MBA2026 class to London Business School. The class is 431 strong, representing 65 different nationalities. The MBA course kicks off with Orientation Week, with activities both on campus and off campus. The week starts with Orientation Day, which is a day of welcoming, from the Dean, Vice Dean, Programme Director and Alumni. Later on, the week includes lots of introductions to LBS and lots of opportunities for the streams to get to know each other, especially during the Away Day!

We spoke to our incoming students to find out what their highlights of Orientation Week are!

“Friendship, diversity, and laughter are the three words I would use to describe orientation week. I was in constant awe of how many incredible people I was meeting from around the globe and that we were beginning the next two incredible years together in London. I am extremely happy to be a part of the vibrant LBS community and am looking forward to many more memories.”

“Meeting hundreds of incredible and talented MBA Peers from 65 different nationalities, learning about all the amazing resources available to us, and jumping from a trapeze to team-build during Away Day all in one week? LBS Orientation Week was the perfect start to my journey here. While it might seem like a lot, every session and activity was incredibly well-paced and there were so many great opportunities to begin building lifelong friendships with classmates. So charge up your social battery and bring an extra pair of comfortable shoes to change into because you won’t want to stop talking to all your new friends.”

Tania Davila

“Orientation week was the best way to kick off our next 2 years. It was very exciting to see everyone together for the first time in a room. It made me reconfirm that choosing LBS to pursue my MBA was the best decision. Being able to connect with such a diverse, talented and friendly community felt almost unreal. It created the base of amazing friendships, relationships and network. My favourite day was the away day. A day where we got to experience team building work with a fun twist. From climbing walls to build trust to games to challenge our perspectives, team dynamics and communication, it made us connect to another level. It was a very intense but fun week and it makes you realise that LBS and its community are something else.”
