Some things never change

by Sunita Chambore, Student-led Initiatives Manager

Some things never change, one of them is the ambition of our students. I was reminded of this as I returned to work from maternity leave in late April 2019 when events, competitions and treks organised by students and supported by the Student-led Initiatives team were in full flow.

Even after being in the role of Student-led Initiatives Manager for several years now, I’m continually impressed with the energy and vision of those students who choose leadership positions within the Student Association and as club leaders. We currently have 77 active student clubs ranging from the Acting and Creative Communications Club to the Women’s Football Club. We work closely with around two dozen clubs that create opportunities for learning.

A range of high quality club events took place in April, May and June. These were attended by students across our programmes, alumni, faculty and business professionals.
