Application Submission: Pursuing the EMBA London Programme

Embarking on your Executive MBA application may feel overwhelming, especially when providing essential personal details required by the admissions team. Here’s a breakdown to guide you through the process for London Business School’s Executive MBA Programme:

  • Submit a concise CV (no longer than two pages).
  • Complete the EMBA application essays.
  • Provide at least one reference, preferably from a current line manager or senior company representative.
  • Include academic transcripts, certificates, and professional qualifications in English (officially translated if necessary).
  • Submit EA/GMAT or GRE scores, or indicate your test date. Waivers may be possible under exceptional circumstances.
  • Pay a non-refundable application fee (currently £180.00).

If certain documents are missing, we’ll guide you on how to proceed.

Fast track: We can fast-track the application with your test score and/or one of the two references pending. However, you will be expected to submit these missing documents at a later stage.

Once the above requirements are met your application will then be submitted for a review.

Interview Stage

After meeting these requirements, your application will undergo review, followed by an interview and Kira assessment if successful.

Tips for the interview: Highlight your executive experience, motivation for pursuing an EMBA, and future goals. Consider financial and logistical aspects. Emphasise strengths and potential contributions.

Post-interview: The admissions committee will assess your application, Kira video assessment, and interview feedback. If successful, you’ll receive an offer or a conditional offer.

You can find more information about how to prepare for your interview from our blog post here.

You will be sent a scholarship application link alongside your interview notification. You can apply for as many scholarships as you match the eligibility criteria, but if successful, you will only receive one type of award.

Offer Stage

Conditional offer: If successful and the admissions committee awards a conditional offer, you will be given a time frame to submit the condition requirement. Upon completion of the set condition(s), your updated application will go back to the committee for a second review and final review.

Unconditional offer: Upon acceptance, you will receive a digital offer pack detailing terms, conditions, and fee payment options (via DocuSign).  If a scholarship is awarded, a separate invoice will be generated and issued after an applicant accepts the scholarship and confirms their acceptance to join the programme.

Admittance Stage

Upon paying the commitment fee, receive formal confirmation of your place in the program, along with orientation and term dates.

International students: Review visa options for attending in-person sessions. Most students use a visitor visa.

You will receive LBS credentials closer to the programme start for network access and platform usage.
