Launched in 2019, the Masters in Analytics and Management (MAM) blends the applied data analytics skills recruiters demand with world-class teaching in general management.
With our inaugural class now coming to the end of the programme, we spoke with three of our MAM2020 graduates, on how their experience has prepared them for kick-starting their careers.
Edoardo Latini:
“The MAM programme equipped me with the right tools to become an all-round analyst. Strong analytical skills and an understanding of new technologies are traits that top employers increasingly look for in candidates. Being able to not only discuss, but critically evaluate these technologies and their impact on business and society, certainly set me apart from other candidates.
The work of the Career Centre has been invaluable for me. The deep expertise they provide as well as their empathy make the people in the Career Centre a fantastic resource for LBS students; we never feel alone in our job search, they are always there to support.”
Carl Khalife:
“While the MAM has enabled me to acquire theoretical and technical toolkit to achieve my career goals, the Career Centre has provided me with the support I needed during the recruiting season. Initiatives ranging from weekly networking events to coaching sessions, the Career Centre’s extensive resources ensures LBS students are equipped with the skills employers are looking for.”
Xiuqi (Sophie Yang):
“As I expected, London Business School and the MAM programme helped me to complete the transformation from academia to the practical business world. Through my time here, I have gained up-to-date business knowledge and hands-on analytical skills and, more importantly, a rare encounter with many distinguished classmates and alumni.”
