Masters in Finance Applications: The Deadlines

by Lucky Singh, MiF Recruitment Manager

Applications for our Masters in Finance (MiF) 2020 intake are now open!

Ranked number 1 globally by the Financial Times, our MiF has an outstanding global reputation, strong links with recruiters and practitioners, an excellent London location as well as impressive employment success. It is incredibly diverse with typically 39 nationalities on the full-time programme and 30 nationalities on the part-time programme.

We understand the time and effort that goes into a MiF application, and with the Round 1 application deadline fast approaching, I would like to go through the process of how to apply for the MiF at London Business School and share with you the deadlines for 2019-2020.

We operate a ‘staged admissions’ process, just like most top schools.

On the MiF Full-time programme we have 5 rounds, starting in October and running through to the final round in April.

On the MiF Part-time programme we have 7 rounds, starting in October and running through to the final round in June.

The application deadlines for the MiF Full-time and Part-time programmes are below:

7 09 June 2020 26 June 2020 24 July 2020

We would advise you to apply in Rounds 1-3 as there are more places available, therefore increasing your chances of getting accepted onto the programme.

As well as this, the earlier you apply, the higher the chance of being awarded a scholarship. However, please note that for strong and exceptional applicants, there will be places available across the admissions season.

Although a large portion of our places are filled in Rounds 1-2, it is essential that we hold back places for the final rounds, in order to build the very particular kind of class we are seeking. What we do not want to do is front load our admissions process and sacrifice our class quality.

The essential thing to remember is that whilst the admissions season is open, you have every chance of being accepted onto the programme.

If you have any questions regarding the MiF application process, you can contact our Student Recruitment Team at mif@london.edu.

Wishing you the best of luck with your application!
