Submitting a late Executive MBA application

by Arione McQueenie, Recruitment Manager, Leadership Programmes

Our Executive MBA London programme has two start intakes per year, in January and September. The final application deadline for our January 2019 intake has recently passed; however, we are still accepting late applications from exceptional candidates.

If you would be interested in starting our Executive MBA programme in January 2019 then please do get in touch with a copy of your CV as soon as possible. You may also be interested in the below frequently asked questions regarding our application process.

Do I need a GMAT test?

We offer the Executive Assessment as an alternative to the GMAT. The Executive Assessment or GMAT is an important part of the application process, as these tests help us assess your study readiness. They also support our understanding of your exceptional strengths, and help us to identify areas you may need to focus on to get the best from your studies.

If you have not yet taken a test, you can submit without a test result. However, you will need to provide a test date that is booked within 1 week of your application submission date. You should provide this test date on page 5 of your application. Our Admissions team may be unable to make a final decision on your application until your test result has been received.

We also offer GMAT/EA waivers to exceptional candidates who are able demonstrate the skills covered by the test through academic achievements and work experience. If you feel you may be eligible for a waiver, please send across your CV and your reason for a waiver request.

You may be eligible for a waiver if you possess:

  • C-level experience in a heavily quantitative role from a medium/large organisation
  • Masters qualification and higher in a quantitative field
  • Relevant professional qualifications i.e.: CFA Level 2, ACCA Level 4

When should I apply?

As we are in the later stages of the application process, you should submit your application as soon as possible. Please be aware that you will need to interview before your place on the programme can be confirmed.

What do I need in order to submit my application?

  • A completed online application form
  • Application essays
  • A one-page CV/resume
  • Names and details of two referees – please provide these details on the online application form ASAP
  • A transcript of grades from each university you have attended
  • Your GMAT or Executive Assessment score
  • Proof of your English Language ability – for non-native English speakers
  • Application fee of £180

What are my next steps?

If you are interested in making a late application, please get in touch with the Recruitment Team with a copy of your CV ASAP. Once we have received a CV, we can set up a phone chat or meeting on campus to discuss your profile, and any questions you have, further.
